Olympus OM-10

Steel, Brass, Camera parts

This was made through the process of brazing, using heat, flux, steel and brass to fuse metal. I bent and cut steel rods to create an ‘exoskeleton’ of a camera body then deconstructed a lens to use for parts. This project was inspired by my love of film photography and recognizing the decline/decay of analog photo processes. This project ignited a growing interest in working with metal.
